Al een paar seizoenen fascineert Lucy Williams me. Maarja, met zo'n typisch Britse naam is het lastig om even wat informatie en plaatjes bij elkaar te googlen. Wat ik ondertussen over de echte Lucy Williams weet is dat ze als gepassioneerde fashion assistent werkt voor InStyle magazine - de UK-versie natuurlijk. Daarnaast blogt ze af en toe wat blurry iPhonekiekjes op Fashion Me Now. De outfits van Lucy zijn gemakkelijk te kopiëren: het grootste gedeelte van haar kast komt bij de Zara, Urban Outfitters en vintagewinkeltjes vandaan. Geen grote namen en flinke gouden kettingen maar gewoon stijl in zijn meest pure vorm. Lucy heeft die typische nonchalante ik-stap-elke-ochtend-zo-mijn-bed-uit-look, die we kennen van Kate Moss en de Olsen-twins. De kracht achter haar verschijning is zonder twijfel de hoed.
